These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Ring Reply ("Ring Reply," "we," "us," or "our"), a missed-call text-back service for small businesses. By using Ring Reply, you agree to these Terms.
Service description
Ring Reply helps small businesses respond to missed customer calls. When a call is missed, Ring Reply can automatically send a follow-up SMS message to the caller using the business's configured phone number, message settings, and telecom integrations.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Ring Reply only for lawful business purposes and in a way that does not harm Ring Reply, recipients, providers, or third parties. You must not:
- Send spam, deceptive, abusive, harassing, or unwanted messages.
- Use Ring Reply for fraud, phishing, impersonation, or misleading communications.
- Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to the service.
- Upload or transmit malicious code or content that violates another party's rights.
- Use Ring Reply in a way that violates carrier rules, provider policies, or applicable law.
SMS and telecom compliance
You are responsible for ensuring your use of Ring Reply complies with all applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, carrier requirements, and messaging policies, including consent, disclosure, recordkeeping, quiet-hour, opt-out, and content requirements. This includes, where applicable, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM, CTIA guidelines, carrier rules, and other telecom or consumer-protection laws.
You may not use Ring Reply to send unlawful SMS messages or messages to people who have not provided any required consent. You must honor opt-out requests promptly, including requests made by replying STOP.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your account configuration, message content, recipient relationships, consents, business practices, and use of phone numbers connected to Ring Reply. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use any data, phone numbers, and content you provide to the service.
Third-party providers
Ring Reply relies on third-party providers, including Twilio and Cloudflare, to deliver telecommunications, infrastructure, security, and related functionality. Your use of Ring Reply may be affected by the availability, policies, and performance of those providers.
Service availability
Ring Reply is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or delay-free service, and SMS or call delivery may fail or be delayed due to carrier networks, third-party providers, recipient devices, configuration issues, maintenance, or events beyond our control.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ring Reply and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of Ring Reply. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Ring Reply for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination and suspension
We may suspend or terminate access to Ring Reply at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for Ring Reply or others, violated law or telecom requirements, failed to pay amounts owed, or used the service in a way that could harm deliverability, security, or provider relationships. You may stop using Ring Reply at any time.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of Ring Reply after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
